It's cold outside, people may be struggling through snow, the wind is icy, and sodden autumn leaves are slippery underfoot. Brrrr!
But as fellow author Sue Brown and I sat in the pub today, at our annual Christmas works lunch (long story for another day *wink*), tucking into sticky toffee pudding and ice cream, I realised that despite the weather, ice cream is for all months, all occasions, all symptoms! It brings pleasure, comfort, sweetness, luxury, and its fair share of excitement. In fact, Sue and I wrote a series of M/M romance novellas set around a fabulous little shop in Soho, London called With A Kick, where alcoholic ice creams are created and sold, and where couples of all ages, nationalities and personalities can meet, greet and fall in love.
Such a pity it's only fictional *sigh*.
So as Carra's kindly invited me over to the blog in this holiday month, I'd like to introduce you to the WITH A KICK series – which actually has two books in the run that relate to Christmas. One is my NICE AND SNOW – a short follow up for the heroes of book #1, Nuri and Eddy from A Twist and Two Balls. And the second is BELLS AND BALLS by Sue Brown. Both are full of laughs, love, drama – and ice cream!
Please pop over and meet the guys of With A Kick. Click the banner or HERE.
There are 9 titles to choose from - one is *free* - and hopefully more to come in 2017.
GIVEAWAY:I'm offering a FREE copy of Nice and Snow in the format of your choice to 3 commenters who tell me here what their favourite ice cream is. Feel free to be imaginative with your toppings!! :D
And a VERY happy holiday season to everyone!
About Clare London:
Clare London took her pen name from the city where she lives, loves, and writes. A lone, brave female in a frenetic, testosterone-fuelled family home, she juggles her writing with her other day job as an accountant.
She's written in many genres and across many settings, with award-winning novels and short stories published both online and in print. She says she likes variety in her writing while friends say she's just fickle, but as long as both theories spawn good fiction, she's happy. Most of her work features male/male romance and drama with a healthy serving of physical passion, as she enjoys both reading and writing about strong, sympathetic, and sexy characters.
Clare currently has several novels sulking at that tricky chapter three stage and plenty of other projects in mind... she just has to find out where she left them in that frenetic, testosterone-fuelled family home.
Clare loves to hear from readers, and you can contact her here:
