Welcome to the Forgiving Reed Blog Tour stop here on Making it Happen!
Kori suffered a great loss, one that left her feeling so desolate and alone, that she believed nothing would ever fill the void…
The only thing that kept her going was the one little piece of joy she still had in her life, her baby boy, Rhett.
She had no choice but to move forward and give her son the best life she could. Which meant moving back home.
Except there was one problem
Home was where Reed would be…
The man who once held her heart, then shattered it into a million pieces.
Grieving the loss of Rhett's dad, and learning to forgive those who have betrayed her, Kori was battling it all.
But will she ever have the strength to forgive Reed?

My Review
Pure emotional overload. That's what I had reading the first third of this book, and that kept coming back over and over throughout the story. From the tearjerking beginning to the how-could-you-not-love-it wonderful end, I thoroughly enjoyed Forgiving Reed.
The characters were well developed, full of emotion, and felt so very real. I was wishing and hoping that everything would turn out well for them, because as I read I just kept thinking that they deserved a happy ending. Kori-my heart went out to her from the start, and her strong character makes her so easy to root for. And then you have Reed. I felt badly for him in the beginning, and with his big heart and loyalty to Kori when she returns home, I wanted so badly for Kori to be able to forgive him and be able to resolve everything.
This story had a great balance of drama, romance and tension. Even with as over-the-moon as Reed is for Kori, it never felt overdone and his attitude only contributed to the depth of emotion that was so evident throughout the book.
With a great cast of secondary characters--who will also have you looking forward to the next book in this series--and such wonderful writing, it was so easy for me to give Forgiving Reed 5 emotional, second-chance stars.
Put this on your TBR if you haven't already--I definitely recommend it!
Author C.A. Harms is like any other addicted reader.
I enjoy happy endings in my love stories. Loving those scenes that give it the needed angst and heat to keep you hooked and wanting more. Just enough drama to make her heart race and your stomach flutter. I haven't always been a lover of Romance and had once been addicted to a good Mystery. Just recently I have taken on a new liking and now I am addicted to Romance Novel.
I am a Limitless Publishing Author and love sharing my stories with my great fans. Feedback is great and I really enjoy interacting with my readers.
I live in Illinois and enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.
You will always find me with my kindle or paperback in hand as it is my favorite pass time.
And I never leave home without a small notebook. You never know when an idea for a new story will strike.
