Thank you so much for inviting me to come by and chat about my newest release, Out in the Deep! This is Book 1 in my brand new Out in Sports series. This series will feature short stories with different sports themes. First up is water polo! Why water polo, you may ask... lol. Two of my three kids were water polo players. I spent many hours at various pools up and down the California coast cheering them on and gained an appreciation for what has to be one of the most physically demanding sports out there.
In Out in the Deep, Derek is a fifth-year senior at a Southern California college and captain of the water polo team. Gabe is the new guy... and Derek’s nemesis. He’s only a year behind Derek in school but he’s miles ahead of him in the pool. He’s well-known and well respected player with big goals. None of which include a boyfriend.

An avid reader from an early age, she has always been drawn to well-told love story with beautifully written characters. These days she prefers the leading roles to both be men. Lane discovered the M/M genre a few years ago and was instantly hooked. Her debut novel was a 2013 Rainbow Award finalist and subsequent books have received Honorable Mentions, and won First Prize in the 2016 and 2017 Rainbow Awards.
