PLAY ME Synopsis
Professional gambler Sloane Keller is tired of dating weak willed men and longs to meet a man who challenges her dominant personality and forces her to submit. As the Queen of Cards, she’s used to making her own rules and craves the excitement of Vegas. But her inner heart cries out for someone who can be her match, both inside the casino and in the bedroom.
As the new dealer in town, Roman Steele is burnt out on women looking for a quick penny and a man to follow. He craves a woman with fire in her soul and a keen intellect who can challenge him. When his brother recruits Madame Eve to help, Rome is amazed at the complicated woman he gets to spend the night with. But when the evening is over, will she be gutsy enough to offer him forever?

My Review
This second book in the Steele Brothers series is just as scorching hot as the first, this time with a bit more dominant attitude from our male lead, Rome. Damn, where the hell can I get one of these Steele brothers for myself?
This time, we get to see a woman that is just as strong-willed-Sloane is a poker champion who rises to the top in a male-dominated field thanks to her own dominant personality. But we get to see the flip side of her here in Play Me, and the way she and Rome interact makes for some spicy tug of war...and a lot of intense, blistering erotic scenes that go even further than those from Catch Me (book 1).
My only lament is how quickly the story comes to a close as it doesn't truly feel like everything was fully wrapped up. I hope we get to find out more about Rome and Sloane (as well as Rick and Tara from book 1) somewhere in the next two stories.
Play Me was a 4-star read for me, and is recommended to the 18+ crowd for explicit erotic sexual content.

My Review of Catch Me
My Review of Catch Me
I've got two words for you...pure indulgence. That is exactly what Catch Me is, and it is both titillating and filled with characters who move you. It is a very quick read, but it packs one hell of an erotic punch the whole way through.
I loved the characters. Rick is strong and clearly a dominant alpha male, and he truly cares about what Tara wants and needs, and right from the start he easily understands her as his protective instincts flare strong the more he learns of her story. Tara has had a tough past, but has emerged stronger and is putting herself back together. Her trust must be earned, and the way she and Rick interact is a perfect example of puzzle pieces fitting together.
The erotic scenes are sensuous and arousing while never feeling overdone. By the time you're done, you'll be flipping those fans on high and desperately searching for your own invite to FANTA-C.
Extremely well written to draw you in and keep you there, Catch Me was a 4.5-star read for me, and has me immediately queuing up the rest of the series for a marathon reading session. I highly recommend this to contemporary erotic romance fans, and this is only for the 18+ crowd due to the intensely erotic sexual content you'll get from cover to cover.
