Jackson Steele and Sylvia Brooks are back in the powerful finale of a provocative, sizzling-hot new erotic trilogy set in the world of J. Kenner’s beloved Stark novels: Release Me, Claim Me, and Complete Me.

He’s the only man I’ve ever loved, and the one man I can’t bear to lose.
Jackson Steele is my light in this world. Charismatic, bold, and always in control, he knows what he wants and how to get it—and absolutely nothing stands in his way. His hold on me is magnetic, his claim on me complete, his kiss my ultimate escape.

We both harbor dark secrets that could tear our lives apart. Though we’ve tried to bury our pasts, there are certain people who won’t let us forget. But the closer danger comes, the brighter the fire between us burns—our ecstasy consuming and soothing us both.

There’s no telling what lies ahead, but I know that Jackson never gives in without a fight. I’d do anything he wants to keep him safe, give him anything he needs. And now that we’re in deep, nothing can make me run.

Under My Skin is intended for mature audiences.

After hanging on the edge of my seat waiting for this final installment in the Stark International Trilogy, I’m happy to report that yes, I loved this one too…though not quite as much as the first two.

Still plenty of excitement and suspense? Sure was. Lots of great dialogue, continued solid writing and intricate plot? You betcha. Hot, intense erotic scenes? Mmm…most definitely. Loose ends tied up, conflicts resolved, and an outcome that left me satisfied and feeling like I’d finished reading an awesome trilogy? Damn straight!

Things got a bit crazier for the characters here in the final installment of the series, and that served to drag me even further in to the story (never thought that could be possible!). There were times when I wanted to sneak my phone under the papers on my desk at work just so I didn’t have to stop reading (don’t worry, I was a good girl). With so many things up in the air for the characters, I couldn’t help but to be riveted to the pages as I read.

Throughout the story, we are constantly reminded of Jackson and Sylvia’s unwavering love and devotion to each other, even those times when one or the other of them tries to push the other away. They both show strength and commitment…though at the end Sylvia does frustrate me a bit with her words and actions as her doubts rise to the surface—as does Jackson a bit earlier in the book (enough to keep me from giving a full five stars).

Under My Skin provided complete resolution for this amazing series, and was filled with plenty of drama and suspense to capture and keep my attention. Overall, the characters continue to grow and exhibit exceptional depth, and the story kept me thoroughly engaged, even at those times when frustrations would arise from character actions and/or words. It has also sparked my need to find out more about other characters to see where their stories might go…like Ethan and Oliver. I really would love to hear their stories…*hint, hint*

Under My Skin was a 4.5-star read for me, and the trilogy has earned its place on my top recommendations list. Highly recommended for erotic romance and romantic suspense fans, and I would strongly advise that the books be read in order to fully enjoy the story. Just jumping in to this last book will probably leave you a bit lost…but believe me, you’re going to enjoy all three books ;-) For 18+/mature audiences due to strong adult language and explicit erotic scenes.
