I've been reading this series from the start, so it was with both excitement and woe that I began this final book in the series, Without Me.
Anthony truly is the definition of a manwhore. Forget the fact that he's the oldest of the Gallo brothers-he's not ready to settle down like the rest of his siblings, content to continue his love 'em and leave 'em ways. I found him to be the dirtiest talker of the bunch, and it was great to see him find a woman who was not going to just fall at his feet like all the rest.
Max...I loved that she was tough and strong and gave Anthony a hard time. What I didn't care for was her attitude about why she won't commit to anyone. She came across as overly stubborn which to me was a little irritating at times.
Thank goodness for Anthony and his determination. Once he finally bulldozes past the walls Max has put up, everything was so much better. Until that happened, I was a bit frustrated with Max and her perspective on her life.
The end and epilogue was a fantastic wrap-up to the series, and I'm going to miss having Gallo-centric stories now that the series has concluded. 3.75 stars for Without Me!
