My Review

And the suspense continues…with even more action, and a heck of a lot more steam!  This second volume in The Vigilante’s Lover will keep your blood pumping with great details that will make you feel like you’re in the middle of a super suspenseful action movie.

More Jax, doing what he does best…more Mia, spreading her wings and getting in on the action herself (which is kind of funny-Mr. Pibb is my fave too ;-)…and good for you Mia!)…and some more Colette and Sam who are great supporting characters.  We also get a glimpse of some new characters, including one who adds more intrigue since he really shouldn’t exist (you’re intrigued now, too, aren’t you…).

Plenty of great futuristic electronic type of enhancements just like with the first volume, and I absolutely love the Firefly reference-the authors get extra points from me for that one.  The chemistry between Jax and Mia continues to sizzle, you’ll definitely want to keep a cool drink and maybe one of those industrial fans next to you for this one.

Great writing that snares your attention and doesn’t let go, and of course at the end another oh-my-gosh-what-the-heck cliffhanger that will have you demanding the next in the series.  5 stars!
