Wicked Ride lives up to the Wicked Horse series reputation for buildup, intense and passionate scenes plus secrets and drama to keep the tension high. For me though, I was on the fence about some of the story even though I was looking forward to Logan's story after his very naughty scene with Rand and Cat in Wicked Need.
I loved Logan-he's hard not to fall for, and it's easy to see he has a very troubled past that he still suffers for every day. Auralie, at first I was pulled in by her and her situation. I was a bit less enthused once I learned her whole backstory though. But you sure can't deny that the two of them do have tremendous chemistry together, and that is the strong suit of this story.
Fans of the series will enjoy the story and find it another good entry in the series. For me, Logan and of course Bridger are the brightest points (Bridger is always one of the brightest points in every Wicked Horse story), especially with the excellent character depth we continue to see in this series. I also was glad to see more revealed about Bridger, and I'm really looking forward to getting his story.
3 stars for Wicked Ride, and I'd recommend this for readers 18+ for adult language and explicit sexual content.
