Blurb

Ready, player one…

Quinn Dellinger is supposed to be having fun at an industry party for gamers. Instead, all she can think about is the promotion she just got passed over for at her security firm. Then she spots him. Tall? Check. Dark? Check. Dangerously sexy? Check. Hell, yes—this is the guy who'll help her forget all her worries and give her one wickedly naughty night.

My Review

I love it when I read a book where the female lead is an intelligent woman!  Even better when she's in a profession that's male-dominated.  Though Quinn does have her own baggage from her past that makes it extremely difficult for her to trust anyone outside of her very small inner circle, something about Aiden just clicks for her.

Oh yes, Aiden...the strong, sexy, smart ex-FBI guy who's also thoughtful, insightful-and totally into Quinn right from the start.  As far as leading male characters go, you can't get much better than Aiden.

Put Quinn and Aiden together, and the result is absolutely explosive-both before and after she finds out he's the one who got the job she wanted.  They work well as a team both in and out of the bedroom, and the angst that Quinn's past brings to the surface gives them hurdles to leap in order for her to truly trust Aiden.  I love how safe Quinn feels with him, it accentuates how well the two of them fit together.

There's some drama and a spot of mystery as the two try to unravel the case they are working on, and this along with the steamy intimate scenes kept my attention fully focused on the story.  The writing flowed very smoothly, and I found myself virtually flying through the pages.

A good, intriguing story with plenty of heat, A Dangerously Sexy Affair was a solid 4-star read for me and I'd definitely recommend it to contemporary romance fans 18+ (for some adult language and the sexual content).

About the Author

Growing up, Stefanie came from a family of women who loved to read. Her favourite activity was going shopping with her Nan during school holidays, where she would sit on the floor of the bookstore with her little sister and painstakingly select the books to spend her allowance on.

After leaving her hometown of Melbourne to explore the world, she’s settled in Toronto...for now. By day (and night!) she writes romance with humour, heat and heart, and tries not to spend too much time shopping online and watching baby animal videos on YouTube.
