My Review
If this is what we can expect from every collaboration between Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde, I vote for this pairing of authors to be permanent. Dirty Sexy Saint lives up to its name with plenty of hot, sexy, downright dirty intimate scenes while also delivering intense emotions and a story that really packs a punch.
Clay is all alpha male, in all the best ways. Protective, loyal, nurturing, compassionate-and it's all wrapped up in one smoking hot, drool-and-swoon-worthy package. He has the truly tragic past that he's risen above, and the emotional and physical scars to go along with it. Samantha is a complete 180 from Clay, coming from a silver-spoon upbringing where everything she needed was provided to her-though at the cost of ultimately giving up her personal aspirations and freedom.
When the two of them come together, the opposite attract trope goes full steam ahead, resulting in tension and explosive chemistry. It's fast and furious, extremely intense and runs deeper than either Samantha or Clay would ever guess.
Extra drama comes into play when an unwelcome bit of Clay's past resurfaces, setting events in motion to pull them apart and ultimately test their true feelings. All in all, everything combines to give the reader a riveting story that you won't want to put down...oh, and it may make you hungry too-I'm going to call it the cupcake effect ;-)
4.5 tantalizingly tasty stars for Dirty Sexy Saint, recommended only for 18+ due to adult language and explicit sexual content (yes, you'll need your high-speed fans and maybe an ice bath). And be prepared for a craving for the next two books...Mason and Levi are totally intriguing and if you're like me, you'll desperately want their stories as well!
